Julkaisin tässä vähän aikaa sitten Lindex Missoni -malliston omat suosikkini. Hyvä ystäväni ei ollut tullut edes ajatelleeksi koko mallistoa, mutta kun hän näki postaukseni niin hän ihastui muutamiin malliston vaatekappaleisiin yhtä vahvasti kuin minä. Tästä johtuen, vaatekaappejamme värittää malliston samat palat ;)
Kuvissa näkyy ranskalainen ystäväni ja hän on aina silloin tällöin vilahdellut blogini puolella. Rosa on todella erilainen pukeutuja kuin minä, mutta aina hänet nähdessäni inspiroidun ja lupaan itselleni että alan käyttämään enemmän värejä. Rosan tyyli on hyvin ranskalaiseen tapaan tyylikkään boheemi eikä hän pelkää käyttää värejä tai erilaisia kuoseja. Itse olen niin paljon klassisempi pukeutuja, mutta nautin ystäväni tyylistä ihan äärettömän paljon.
Nämä kuvat ovat viime sunnuntailta. Kyllä, sunnuntailta. Hmm. Itse olin tosin pukeutunut hivenen rennommin… Menimme sunnuntaina elokuviin katsomaan ranskalaisen elokuvan, Luihin ja Ytimiin (De rouille et d’os/ Rust and Bone). Elokuvaa oli hehkutettu Cannesin filmifestivaaleista saakka ja meillä Suomessa se sai ensi-illan Rakkautta ja Anarkiaa -festivaalien päätöselokuvana. Meidän yllätykseksi elokuvan ensi-iltaan oli tullut myös elokuvan ohjaaja ja käsikirjoittaja, Jacques Audiard. Elokuvan jälkeen yleisö sai kysellä häneltä kysymyksiä elokuvaan liittyen. Miten ihana yllätys sunnuntaille! Elokuva oli ihan huippu ja suosittelen sitä lämpimästi!
P.S. Tämä ei ollut pelkästään niin sanotusti naisten elokuva, joten voitte ottaa poikaystävänne tai miehenne mieluusti mukaan ;)

A little while ago I published my favorites from Missoni for Lindex collection. After my friend saw my pictures she begun to crave some pieces from the collection. As a result, our closets are now filled with same color spots ;)
The girl in the pictures is my very dear French friend Rosa. She has been in my blog posts every now and then and perhaps you have seen her before. She has very unique and special style. Her a bit bohemian style gives me so much inspiration. I would describe Rosa’s style to be a chic and bohemian at the same time. She is not afraid to use colors or big patterns. Even though my own style is very simple, but every time I see her I get inspired.
These pictures are from last Sunday. Yep, it was Sunday and she had dressed up like that. My outfit was a little bit more relaxed than hers. On Sunday we went to see one really good French movie, De rouille et d’os / Rust and Bone. Since Cannes film festival I’ve been waiting to see the movie and finally on last weekend the movie got its premier in Finland. What surprised us the most was that the director and screenwriter, Jacques Audiard was also in Finland during the weekend. After the movie the audience got chance to ask detailed questions from him. That was a really nice Sunday surprise! The movie was super good and I highly recommend it :)

I think growing up in the 70’s makes me run away from such style and colours faster than the speed of light :) Because this looks exactly like what people wore back then and I realize I am still flashed, even after all these years.
Also, I must say it is funny how things change generally. Growing up, it was hammered into us to never ever wear a coat shorter than the dress or skirt. A coat HAD to be longer than the hem underneath, otherwise it was considered bad dressing. So even nowadays where everything goes, I would never wear a dress and a shorter coat. I just can’t, it is like an iron reminder inside me :)
That being said, I think I will have to see that movie, it sounds really promising. I wouldn’t know where in my weird town such a movie might be shown, but that is to be found out. French movies are always a bit different in style and making and I am looking forward to it.

Actually, I have still the same thing with the skirts and the coats. I feel that something is really wrong if the coat is shorter than my dress.
It is really good movie. It’s not that kind of French movie where time stands still. The filming style is a bit documentary like, but I loved this movie and can’t wait to buy it to myself. I hope to find time and place to see this movie :)

I will definitely go and see it or buy it :) I did learn French at school but didn’t use it for many years, so let’s see if I need the dubbing or subtitles or if I can grab the content in French.
Don’t remind me of the 80’s! I was a teen in the mid 80’s, so imagine this: light-blue Vanilia-jeans, waist-high, with a studded white leather belt, stuffed in a light pink sweatshirt with huge shoulders, teamed with Nike oder Adidas runners, teamed with blonde highlights and a perm *shudder* To top it off, a nice leather jacket was thrown over it all. In brown or black ofc.
And yes, the stonewashed style was really popular back then, most often with cowboy boots! So, stonewashed jacket, stonewashed jeans and cowboy boots. It looked… interesting…
The 90’s and the modern times are definitely easier on the eyes ;)

Omasta mielestänni toi mekko oli liian painavaa materiaalia, se ei vain yksinkertaisesti tuntunut hyvältä päällä..tykkäsin kyllä ulkonäöstä joten olisn vähän pettynyt. Kokeilin myös yhtä hametta, mutta se taas oli liian pitkä näin lyhyelle ihmiselle joten päädyin ostamaan yhden neuleen joka on ihana :) Olisin toivonut laajempaa mallistoa..
